Counter-Strike Global Offensive is a first-person shooting game in the military. Tjis game isn't one that should be considered a sequel to the original. It's more like a game that has been redesigned so that those who play in the modern age of technology can enjoy situations that occur while in the military. The game allows you to play online against others, or as a solo endeavor to develop your skills.
Counter Strike has a simple theme. There are terrorists and counter-terrorists. Your goal is to defeat the enemy with your squad. Several maps are available to follow, and there are various challenges with each level of play. Some of the added levels include hostage situations where you have to rescue fellow military personnel.
New modes of playing have been added. One is a Demolition while the other is an Arms Race. Both involve working with other players in order to defeat the opposition. You can also play in the classic mode, but it's important to take note that if you die, there's no coming back with a second life unless you start the game over or start from a point that you have already passed, usually quite a ways back. This makes the game a bit longer if you aren't sure how to defend yourself with your weapons. There are new weapons that are available, such as long-distance rifles. Another disadvantage is that you don't earn points to upgrade your player. It's purely a game that is based on how well you can play against the enemy. You need a trained eye in order to spot those who are hiding and to detect strikes against your character.
